Country hit maker Jimmie Allen and his wife, Alexis, are expecting the arrival of a second daughter, the singer has revealed.

Chatting with Sam Alex and Tiffany Goldstein on The Sam Alex Show, the newlywed rising star first gave an update on his honeymoon plans, since he and Alexis recently tied the knot. And then Allen confirmed news that another baby will soon join the family.

“We’ve got a baby girl on the way!” Allen said. “We didn’t do the whole [gender] reveal thing because we did it for the first one, and whatever pops out pops out.”

Allen went on to say that he and Alexis don’t have a named picked out yet, since they were planning for a baby boy. But he does have a strong front runner — which definitely won’t get approved.

“I want to name her Aria Stark Allen, because I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan,” Allen joked. “But Lex ain’t letting that happen. So I don’t know what we’re gonna call her. It might just be ‘Hey you!'”

The happy couple were married in a picturesque Pennsylvania wedding this spring, after first meeting in 2019. They also share a 1-year-old daughter, Naomi Bettie, and Jimmie Allen has 7-year-old son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.

Allen’s new single, “Freedom Was a Highway” (featuring Brad Paisley), is out now. He scored back-to-back breakout Number Ones with “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To” in 2018 and 2019, and his expanded album project — the Bettie James Gold Edition — is out Friday (June 25) with nine brand new duets.
