Exciting news for Joe Nichols and Cole Swindell! Both singers have had their latest singles certified gold by the RIAA.

Nichols’ “Sunny and 75″ went gold for single sales in excess of 500,000 digital downloads. The song is the lead single from Nichols upcoming album, Crickets. Sunny and 75 hit the No.1 spot on both the Billboard Hot Country Songs and the Country Aircheck/ USA Today charts in early December. The song is the 4 x Grammy nominees fifth No.1 single.

Yeah, the second single from Nichols’ album Crickets, will hit radio on January 27, 2014.

Swindell’s “Chillin’ It” became the first single in all genres to receive Gold certification from the R.I.A.A. in 2014. “Chillin’ It is currently No. 7 on the Country Airplay chart. The single has sold over 600,000 copies, making Chillin It the highest selling debut single released in 2013 from a solo country male.

Swindell is gearing up to head out with Luke Bryan this month, beginning January 16 in Columbus, Ohio for his Thats My Kind of Night tour.
