Back in March, John Mayer tweeted about wanting to record a duet with teen sensation Taylor Swift. Fans will be happy to know that they did in fact record a song together.
Mayer is set to release a new album titled Battle Studies later this fall. The album will feature a duet with Swift called, “Half Of My Heart.”
Mayer says the new album is very different from his last release. “Where Continuum was R&B and Soul, Battle Studies was written with the timelessness of Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac and Neil Young in mind. The melodies and message are concise and from-the-gut with the efficiency of simplicity.”
Battle Studies will be released on November 17.
