Scotty McCreery and a long list of stars are stepping up for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital today (May 5), showing even in a time of social distance, we can still come together for a great cause.

Aiming to raise funds for the big-hearted hospital — who’s mission is to help kids fight cancer by making sure their families never pay a dime for treatment — McCreery and pals will “Take 5 Together #forStJude” this afternoon, joining a four hour live-streaming event on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram from 1-5 p.m. CST (click the video below to watch).

Featuring dance lessons, cooking segments, live performances and virtual surprises, the all-star cast of supporters also includes former NFL player and co-host of ABC’s Good Morning America, Michael Strahan, actresses Drew Barrymore and Ashley Tisdale, model Kaia Gerber, pop duo Rio Roma, celebrity Chef Adrianne Calvo and more — plus the brave St. Jude patients themselves – all meant to delight and inspire viewers in celebration of #GivingTuesdayNow.

“At St. Jude, our patient families remind us daily that no matter where we are in the world and whatever difficult circumstances we face, it’s important to find ways to be inspired and delighted, and never lose hope,” said Richard C. Shadyac Jr., President and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Let’s show the world that when facing some of life’s greatest challenges and even when we have to be physically apart, together, we can make a difference in the lives of others and the children at St. Jude.”

“It filled me with joy to surprise a very special St. Jude patient for Take 5 Together #forStJude, and I’m excited to share that with everyone,” said Strahan. “I’m inspired by the many acts of kindness we’ve witnessed around the world. Because of people’s generous hearts, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is still helping families facing childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”
