Jon Pardi has had a remarkable two years since releasing his sophomore album, California Sunrise, earning three consecutive No.1’s, a No.1 album and winning CMA New Artist of the Year and ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year.

The successes have also landed Pardi on some of country music’s hottest tours, including opening slots for Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and George Strait. The opportunities, Pardi explains, are ones that have been dreams come true in their own rights.

“Tim McGraw and I worked out together, which was fun. I got to have a beer with Alan Jackson, and talked to George Strait a couple of times,” Pardi told Sounds Like Nashville previously. “Those are some of my heroes. I’ve gotten to do a lot of cool stuff with people I’ve been listening to since I was a kid which is definitely a cool feeling.”

Among those heroes is Luke Bryan, who Pardi will spend much of 2018 out on the road with opening for the What Makes You Country Tour. As for what he’s excited to do with Luke out on the road, Pardi reckons that the possibilities are endless.

“Luke likes to do a lot of stuff. I think one day I want him to teach me how to fly fish. ‘Cause I know he loves fly fishing and I know that’s something I’ve always wanted to learn, and I think we’ll actually have a time out there,” he shared with SLN.

Time will tell on what Pardi and Bryan enjoy for some on tour bonding, but fans can catch the two when they hit the stage this summer.
