Julie Robert’s ‘Blue Christmas’ to be Part of The CW’s ‘Hart of Dixie’ Tonight

Julie Roberts’ classic rendition of “Blue Christmas” will be featured on The CW’s new hit series “Hart of Dixie” during its holiday episode tonight, Dec. 5.

“I am so excited about my recording of (the song) being featured on ‘Hart of Dixie,'” Roberts said. “When I first told my fans about it, they were so excited because they love the show and I do too!”

The song will be a part of the show’s “Hairdos and Holidays” episode in which the characters residing in Bluebell, AL prepare for the Christmas festivities of the small town and its annual Miss Cinnamon Cider Pageant. The show airs Monday nights on The CW at 9/8c.

“‘Hart of Dixie’ features so much music and I think that’s awesome,” Roberts said. “Music in movies and television to me is so important for the mood and excitement of a scene. I am just so excited they chose one of my favorite songs from my new Christmas EP.”

“Blue Christmas” is the opening track of Roberts’ debut holiday release, Who Needs Mistletoe, which is now available at all digital retailers, including iTunes, Amazon MP3 and CD Baby.
