When Miranda Lambert wanted to revive her Airstream trailer space, she knew only one duo to call: the Junk Gypsies.
Inspired by Lambert’s dedication to her country roots and her love of all things rustic, the Gypsies took full advantage of the vintage vibes given off of the mobile home to create a welcoming interior to squeeze into after a night on stage. Picking out unique pieces from their junkyard dives, the two decorated the small area to every bit of Lambert’s liking and the singer was not disappointed with the results whatsoever.
Not only did the country artist love the look of the place, but she also admired the Gypsies’ way of utilizing all of the square footage to the best and biggest abilities they could.
“It looks so much bigger. That was my first impression—it’s so much bigger, but it’s like I literally didn’t know what to expect. But I knew it was going to be awesome because it’s y’all,” Lambert raved over the revamp.
Some of the highlights from the hangout included an old-fashioned pew as a seating area right next to the bar with the words, “Jesus Drank Wine,” spray-painted onto the backing and the authentic snakeskin-covered booth. Giving Lambert and her bandmates a spot to play some cards or enjoy a drink seemed to spark huge interest in the Texas native’s heart.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the official Wanda the Wanderer trailer without a bit of fringe scattered throughout the entire metallic doublewide. It represented Lambert’s personal on-stage style and reflected quite well next to the rest of the décor.
Lambert just finished up her run of the Livin’ Like Hippies Tour, but will bring out Wanda the Wanderer for The Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town this summer to provide all the good times.
