Justin Bieber Gives ‘Where Are U Now’ A Little Country Twang

Justin Bieber, country singer? Well, that would be interesting!

The pop superstar appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss a number of things, including his emotional performance on MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) and his latest hit single with DJ Skrillex, “Where Are U Now.”

The talk show said he thought Bieber’s voice was “digitally destroyed” when the song was created, but that he enjoyed hearing the 21-year-old singing a “country version” of the tune during his rehearsal earlier that day. “I just get in the mood,” he explained when asked why he liked to sing the song like that. Putting Bieber on the spot, Fallon asked him to sing it again for the live audience.
