Kacey Musgraves is officially making her cartoon debut! The singer is featured, in cartoon form, in a new episode of Scooby-Doo on the Boomerang app. The episode finds Musgraves teaming up with the Scooby crew to solve a country music mystery in Nashville. Musgraves posted clips from the episode which show Shaggy, Scooby and her taking a break from detective work and chowing down on a meal with some very special hot sauce.

“Scooby-Doo and the gang came on down to Nashville to help crack a major Country Music mystery,” she wrote alongside the videos on Instagram. “No – it wasn’t to solve the lack of female airplay! – but if you wanna watch it all you have to do is download the @boomerangtoons app (it’s free) and that episode is available also for free. (you don’t have to make an account or anything.) Click on Scooby Doo and then on “Scoobtober Premiers” and my episode is the first one! • Thank you for having me @scoobydoo & crew!”

Musgraves shared even more clips from the episode in her Instagram stories. In addition to appearing on Scooby-Doo, Musgraves has recently been promoting ventures related to the songs on her Golden Hour album. The singer has multiple product lines, including her “Slow Burn” candles and “Lonely Weekend” themed puzzles, socks, tie-dye kits, and bath bombs.

Although Musgraves is not on the road currently due to the pandemic, she’s still receiving accolades for her music. She was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year at September’s Academy of Country Music Awards. The “Rainbow” singer is also up for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 54th Annual CMA Awards, airing November 11th on ABC.
