The first phone call Kalie Shorr made when she found out she booked a show at the famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville: her mom.

But it wasn’t just any old phone call. Because of the big moment of celebration, Shorr decided to offer the first ticket of the event to the woman that raised her up. With tears in her eyes, the singer couldn’t believe she was getting the opportunity to make her way to the famous Circle for the performance of a lifetime.

“MOM I’M MAKING MY OPRY DEBUT! So in love with life. So in love with country music. Can’t wait to stand in the circle for the first time on 3/31! @opry (ps I cried typing this too okay bye),” Shorr wrote out of excitement with the video.

Shorr will perform for the first time on the Opry stage on March 31. Tickets are available for her show on the Opry website.
