With tears in her eyes, the singer couldn’t believe she was getting the opportunity to make her way to the famous Circle for the performance of a lifetime.
“MOM I’M MAKING MY OPRY DEBUT! So in love with life. So in love with country music. Can’t wait to stand in the circle for the first time on 3/31! @opry (ps I cried typing this too okay bye),” Shorr wrote out of excitement with the video.
Although playing the Opry stage marks a monumental occasion for a newcomer like Shorr, she rocked all throughout 2017 by booking the opening slot on Sara Evans’ headlining tour and even got named as one of the honorees for the CMT Next Women in Country during CMA Awards week.
The singer also continues to command as a member of the Song Suffragettes, which unites female songwriters and performers in Nashville to create together.
Shorr will perform for the first time on the Opry stage on March 31. Tickets are available for her show on the Opry website.
