Outside of his music and life as a singer, country newcomer Kameron Marlowe is a big family who appreciates any time he gets to spend with his loved ones. And this, of course, includes the Christmas holiday coming up.

“My family always come together, and we always eat on Christmas night and we just have fun and play board games and stuff,” Marlowe told Sounds Like Nashville in a recent interview. “It’s just always a great time. I love my family. I’m a big family guy. Any time I get to be around them, I enjoy the hell out of it.”

Although the North Carolina native admits he’s not the biggest festive music guy, he does have a favorite — “‘Please Come Home for Christmas’ by The Eagles [is] I think the coolest Christmas song there is.”

With 2021 beckoning, Marlowe has his eyes and personal goal set on possibly jumping back on tour sometime in the new year.

“Man, I’ve been writing so much in 2020 that hopefully, my goal is to be on a tour in 2021 if the world opens back up.”

Earlier this year, the 23-year-old was slated to open up for the iconic Lynyrd Skynyrd, before the wrath of COVID-19 started hitting live music and the entire world in full swing.

“The night before we were flying out to California to hop on that show, the world shut down and the show got canceled. So, [we] missed out on that, but hopefully it comes back around.”
