Kane Brown brought the charm with a performance of “Short Skirt Weather” at the 2019 CMT Awards.
Brown brought the music outside of Bridgestone Arena, fans coming out in droves to the stage on lower Broadway in downtown Nashville. Brown was in good spirits as he entertained the crowd with the catchy tune that highlights his twang-filled voice and a striking fiddle.
Fans reveled in this energy, singing along to the lyrics while waving yellow polka dot flags in the air. The trailblazing country star ventured into the crowd, using them as a backdrop as he sang, “Oh my baby’s made for short skirt weather, yeah she makes me wish summer would just go on forever, from them yellow polka dots, blue jeans to leather.”
“Short Skit Weather” is the fifth track on Brown’s chart-topping 2018 album Experiment. He’s nominated at the 2019 CMT Awards for Video of the Year for “Good as You” and Male Video of the Year for “Lose It.”
