Kane Brown praised true love with his performance at the 2020 CMT Music Awards, dropping to his metaphorical knees with “Worship You.”

Splitting his co-hosting duties with the TV debut of his brand-new single, the red-hot hitmaker celebrated a higher-power kind of love — the kind that only comes from finding your soul mate. Sporting a black “Family” hat, sparkling black jacket and a thick gold chain, Brown showed the new song to be a feel-good anthem with an easy grace to it. Kicking off in acoustic style with a fiddle run and tender lyrics, it then opened up into a heartwarming midtempo — which under different circumstances, would have been perfect for swaying couples to get close in the audience.

Brown, who is co-hosting the celebration, earned two nominations in Collaborative Video of the Year: one for his song with Nelly called “Cool Again” and another for “One Thing Right” featuring Marshmello.

The 2020 CMT Music Awards air Wednesday, October 21st at 8:00PM ET/7:00PM CT on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop and TV Land.
