Country star Kane Brown has made good on a promise to support an organization at the forefront of helping kids in need, donating $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

According to Brown, the money comes from his diversity anthem, “Worldwide Beautiful,” which he pledged all proceeds from when the song was released. The big-picture ballad came out in 2020, but took on a whole new meaning in the wake of racial injustice protests across the country last summer.

“My message would be to listen to everybody instead of yelling at each other,” Brown reportedly told Variety about the song’s message. “That’s how we’ll work this thing out is when everybody can just realize we’re all people.”

In a video posted by The Boys and Girls Club of America, Brown says he’s proud to be able to support a cause so near and dear to his heart.

“You guys inspire me every day, and I love the heck out of y’all,” he says. “I can’t wait to see you on the road.”

“Special thank you to our friend @KaneBrown for his generous donation!” the organization wrote. “All proceeds from his song ‘Worldwide Beautiful’ will support our mission, including advocating for equality for the millions of kids that are counting on us.”

Kane Brown is currently working on the follow up album to his 2020 Mixtape: Vol. 1 EP, and his collab with Chris Young on “Famous Friends” is out now.
