Katie Armiger Adds Over Twenty-Five Dates to “Get Smart Tour”

Katie Armiger, who has become one of the biggest and brightest independent female country artists, has added over twenty-five dates to her “Get Smart Tour,” sponsored by Great American Country (GAC). The almost fifty date tour will make stops in major cities including Grand Rapids, MI, Springfield, MO, and Peoria, IL and will run through November. Katie has been winning over fans across the country on the “Get Smart Tour” that kicked off in late March and will make a special stop at the 2012 CMA Music Festival June 8th to perform at the Bud Light Stage at BridgestoneArenaPlaza. She recently took some time out to begin writing for her much anticipated forthcoming fourth studio album.

“This tour has been incredible so far getting to meet and make new fans – and it only keeps getting better,” said Katie. “No artist can ask for a better outcome from a tour than for it to be a success that dates are continually being added. Katie, who was voted by fans as Country Weekly’s #1 hottest bachelorette, teamed up with GAC for her first headlining “Get Smart Tour” of the U.S. GAC is dedicated to bringing country music and lifestyle programs to viewers in 62 million households across the country. The tour is making stops at colleges, universities and major fairs and festivals across the country, with Katie performing her hit singles including “Scream”, “Kiss Me Now”, “Leaving Home”, “Best Song Ever”, “I Do, But Do I,” as well as testing out new music. Katie is no stranger to being on the road having opened for some of country music’s biggest names over the years including Darius Rucker, Ronnie Dunn, Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler, and Luke Bryan.
