Keith Urban Featured In New ‘American Idol’ Promo Spot

As FOX prepares for a new season of “American Idol,” a new commercial featuring Keith Urban, along with his fellow ‘Idol’ judges, is set to inspire a whole new group of singers.

The heart-warming promo features Urban, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and host Ryan Seacrest. Check it out below.

It seems that the cast is ready to inspire their contestants during the show’s twelfth season, although their backstage chemistry is anything less than inspiring. Several weeks ago, Urban was caught in the middle of a cat fight between Carey and Minaj, shutting down production for the day.

At the time, Keith told Extra “I love it, I gotta say, look I love working with passionate people. I love artists. Everyone just sort of expressing themselves. It’s a very alive and very invigorating work environment. A lot of passion. Randy is the craziest, so you know I’m predictable.”
