Keith Urban Joins Country Rising Concert, Benefit to Include Las Vegas Victims

The concert will benefit both the immediate and long-term needs of the victims of the September 2017 hurricanes and the Las Vegas shooting.

In light of last week’s horrific tragedy in Las Vegas, the star-studded Country Rising benefit concert has been expanded to benefit the victims of the shooting, in addition to hurricane victims in Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico and additional Caribbean islands.

Taking place in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 12, the lineup will include performances from country music powerplayers like  Jason AldeanDierks BentleySam HuntLady AntebellumLittle Big TownMartina McBrideReba McEntireChris StapletonGeorge Strait and Carrie Underwood, with Keith Urban also joining the bill. Due to a scheduling conflict, however, Garth Brooks will no longer take part in the concert but plans to donate all proceeds from his two shows in Spokane, WA that night to The Country Rising Fund.

Country Rising will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which was created to support victims of the September 2017 hurricanes: Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria. The fund will now support the immediate and long-term needs of both the hurricane victims and the victims of Las Vegas.

Tickets and VIP packages for the event will go on sale beginning Friday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. CT on Ticketmaster. Citi cardmemebers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. CT through the Citi Private Pass Program.
