As the clock strikes midnight and everyone leans in for that year-defining kiss, Keith Urban will be rocking out the huge crowd in downtown Nashville for the Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville concert.

Urban will be joined among an extensive musical lineup including Styx, A Thousand Horses, Charlie Worsham and Moon Taxi on ringing in the start of 2017. While Urban didn’t expose many secrets about his late-night performance, he did express his excitement over the gig that seems to be a long time coming in the country star’s career.

“I’m really looking forward to it. As cold as it will be, it won’t be as cold as the New Year’s we had last time we played outdoors, which was on the rim of Niagara Falls and we played outside…It was crazy, but I’m really glad we get to play here on New Year’s Eve. I’ve lived here 24 years and never played New Year’s Eve here,” he said to Sounds Like Nashville and other media outlets recently.

Although he didn’t know who he could surprise the crowd with on that night due to many artists celebrating the holidays with their families back in their original hometowns, Urban still knows how to put on a show himself. He’s a former Entertainer of the Year, afterall.
