Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Has a Knack for Film Directing
The celebrity parents plan to pave the way for their daughter to accomplish her dreams of becoming a film director one day.
It’s no wonder that a child with two entertainers as parents would grow up with the dream to work in the same industry.
Although some parents may worry that their kids want to follow in their footsteps for a stressful and tough career in the entertainment world, Nicole Kidman wants to boost her daughter up to believe she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. Noting that directing may be in her child’s future, Kidman and husband Keith Urban seem hopeful for the future ahead, where equality in that industry becomes at the forefront of its values.

“The stories that [women are] telling and the way in which we’re doing it creates opportunities for not only our generation but the generations to come. And I’m raising a little girl that’s showing an interesting in directing right now. I want her to have a path for that,” Kidman said in an interview for Time’s 100 Most Influential People issue.
The proud parents they are, Urban and Kidman raise up their girls, nine-year-old Sunday Rose and seven-year-old Faith Margaret, to be the best they can be. Keeping them a tad sheltered from the skewed shine of the spotlight, their family life remains a personal part of their careers and the couple try to maintain that healthy balance.
