ACM host Keith Urban and P!nk appeared on the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards to perform their brand new song, “One Too Many,” which was released Wednesday morning (9/16). Although the two were in different time zones at the time of the performance, they were able to come together virtually in a way that made it look like they were together.

The performance started with Urban standing in front of a blue screen that slowly turned pink at the bottom. The colors then began to swirl around Urban as he sang the first verse about waking up the couch after a night out. At the beginning of the chorus, P!nk appeared on the right side of the screen with the same background as Urban and only a black barrier separating them. The pop singer, who has collaborated with country artists in the past, then took the second verse about drinking on her own.

The two then kept singing the tune, which is about a stubborn couple admitting when they need to take each other home after a night out. The colors kept surrounding the duo as they sang, changing from swirling pastels to colored beams racing across the screen. Towards the end of the performance, Urban showed off his legendary guitar talents by playing the guitar solo. “One Too Many” will appear on Urban’s new album, The Speed Of Now Part 1. In addition to hosting the ACM Awards and performing, Urban was nominated for Male Artist of the Year.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards aired from Nashville, TN on Wednesday, September 16 on CBS after being postponed from their original date in April. The performances  took place from the Grand Ole Opry House, the Bluebird Cafe and the Ryman Auditorium. Other performers included Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay and more.
