Country superstar Keith Urban announced today that he has plans to undergo throat surgery to remove a polyp that has developed on his vocal chords. The procedure, which will take place later this month, has forced Urban to postpone his ‘All For The Hall’ benefit concert to allow time for recuperation.
According to his official website, Keith will honor his “pre-existing one-song performance commitments leading up to his procedure at the end of this month.” Other appearances will be rescheduled for 2012.
