Kellie Pickler Announces Air Date for ‘90210’, Schedules ‘Ellen’ Appearance
“Tough” on the outside but with some butterflies on the inside, Kellie Pickler’s acting debut on the CW’s “90210” is set to air on October 18. Kellie will premiere some clips from the episode and perform her single “Tough” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” next Tuesday, October 4.
As nearly a regular on the show, Kellie said of Ellen, “You see her on TV and she’s so funny and warm and kind hearted. But when the camera’s go off, she’s still that same person. It’s always fun to be on Ellen and have some laughs, sing my songs and dance.”
On “90210,” Kellie plays the role of Sally, the country-singing cousin of local cowboy Austin (Justin Deeley). She also performs her Top 30 single “Tough,” which Music Row Magazine says “is the perfect song from the personality-packed performer.”
Also while in Los Angeles, Kellie will perform at Camp Pendleton on Friday, October 7 as part of Operation Gratitude, a free show for all US Service members. Operation Gratitude’s mission is to send care packages to U.S. Military personal overseas, to their children left behind and to wounded warriors recovering in transition units. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase for the general public.
