Country singer and TV personality Kellie Pickler will star in the sequel to her popular Hallmark movie debut this summer. Wedding at Graceland is set to start filming in April, and follows 2018’s holiday themed Christmas in Graceland.
Pickler will reprise her role as Laurel, a Chicago-based executive who accidentally returns to her roots in Memphis, Tennessee. Christmas in Graceland found Laurel visiting home on business and reconnecting with an old flame played by Wes Brown – who she used to sing with as an almost-famous duo. Wedding in Graceland will extend the couple’s love story and follow their marriage preparations, airing in June as part of Hallmark’s month-long wedding programming. Then, another Graceland sequel is planned for December.
Meanwhile, Pickler continues to host the daytime talk show Pickler & Ben with co-star Ben Aaron. The nationally syndicated program was created in part by Faith Hill, and can be seen on weekday mornings around the country.
