Kellie’s “Frostbite”

Kellie Pickler may have looked warm & cozy in her winter white coat as she helped Ryan Seacrest host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, but she was FREEZING. Wind chills were below zero on NYE!

Kellie chatted with the radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville about her painful/scary experience.

“I was only out there for like two hours, and I got like frostbite on my feet,” she told the national radio show. “It was just crazy. My big toe was like purple and was like splotched purple goin’ all the way up the side of my foot. And my second toe on my left foot was yellow. There was no blood [pumping in my feet]. I was, ‘If my feet don’t look better, I’m not doing this.’ It was like really bad. So I sat inside for like 45 minutes, thawed my feet out and then my color started coming back, but it really scared me.”

Luckily, Kellie’s stylist came up with a solution. They ended up putting warmers in her shoes and made her wear two pairs of socks. Kellie also had hand warmers in her pockets.

We’re glad she made it through the night!
