Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock: Engaged!
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are engaged! Clarkson announced the news on Facebook this afternoon.
“I’M ENGAGED,” she wrote. “I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.”
Blackstock, who manages superstar Blake Shelton, is the son of Narvel Blackstock, Reba’s husband. Rumors of the couple’s engagement surfaced last month. Clarkson put them to rest while visiting “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“We are not [engaged],” Clarkson told Ellen. “But we are totally going to get married. We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day.”
“I mean he’s got to put a ring on it at some point,” she added. “But I’ll wait it out.”
As for the wedding plans, Clarkson said they will keep it simple.
“We will totally, probably elope,” she admitted. “If we did [have a wedding], it would probably be low-key, but I don’t know. Eloping sounds good.”
After sharing the news, Clarkson also shared a photo of her new bling.
“It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt,” she wrote. “They did an amazing job! I can’t wait to make Brandon’s ring with Johnathon as well!”
