Kelly Clarkson Is Pregnant With Baby No.2!

Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second child together!

Clarkson revealed the exciting news on Wednesday evening (8/19) while performing at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

While introducing her song “Piece By Piece,” Clarkson was a bit emotional and had a noticeably tough time getting herself together. She told the crowd, “I was not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant. I’m having a really hard time,” she explained of her struggles to get through the emotional song.

“I’m gonna nail the s— out of this song. That was not how I wanted to announce that … I hate this song right now,” she joked as she wiped away a few tears. “My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”

After making her way through “Piece By Piece,” Clarkson gave a public apology to Blackstock for accidentally letting the cat out of the bag. “I’d like to apologize to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or something. Honestly, I’m just so hormonal today. … I haven’t vomited yet. That is a freakin’ win, y’all.”

Clarkson and Blackstock are parents to River Rose, who celebrated her first birthday in June. Blackstock also has two children from a previous marriage.

After the big announcement, Clarkson continued on with her show, but she was still thinking about the big slip. After singing “Breakaway,” she told fans, “This is going to be a fun show emotionally. You know what’s not easy to do when you’re crying and choking up? Singing.”

“I’m so nervous to talk to my husband,” she added. “We haven’t even told our [extended] family!”
