Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” has just ousted Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” as the best-selling ‘American Idol’ single of all time. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Stronger” beat out sales of “Before He Cheats” by just 1,000 copies. Clarkson has sold 3,510,000 singles while Underwood has moved 3,509,000 copies of her 2006 smash.

While Clarkson may have taken Underwood’s title for the best-selling ‘American Idol’ single of all time, she has a way to go before surpassing Carrie’s album domestic album sales. The “Blown Away” singer has sold 13,205,000 albums to date, while Clarkson has moved 11,664,000 albums.
