Kelsea Ballerini Becomes the Newest Face of COVERGIRL
Easy, Breezy, Beautiful ... Ballerini.
On top of co-hosting awards shows and teaming up with Kenny Chesney for Number One hits, country star Kelsea Ballerini is always working on a bold look — and now that’s part of her job.
Ballerini has been named the new face COVERGIRL, bringing her “easy breezy beautiful” style to the famous family of makeup brands.
Announcing the multi-year deal on Tuesday (March 29), Ballerini says the honor sends her right back to experimenting with makeup as a girl, and dreaming of one day being the famous face in all the ads. Ballerini now joins a long list of fashion icons who have also represented COVERGIRL, from Jennifer O’Neill and Christie Brinkley to Faith Hill, Drew Barrymore, Keri Russell, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
Ballerini is now set to become the face of a “yet-to-be-announced collection” of makeup coming this Spring, and she’ll stay involved with the brand in a “multi-year partnership.”
“I’ve been a fan of COVERGIRL for as long as I can remember,” Ballerini says in an official statement. “I’ve always had an iconic tube of COVERGIRL mascara in my makeup bag, and I even wrote in my journal at age 14 that one day I dreamed of being a COVERGIRL. Makeup is another creative outlet for me, and I’ve always said if I wasn’t doing music, I would probably be a makeup artist! I’m excited and honored to partner with COVERGIRL, and I can’t wait to share more about my favorite products from the brand.”

With her seven Number Ones to her credit (including the recent “Half of My Hometown” (feat. Kenny Chesney)), Ballerini most recently delivered a highlight performance of the 57th annual ACM Awards, where she shared the stage with the legendary Dolly Parton. Up next, she’ll return for a second year as the co-host of the 2022 CMT Music Awards with Anthony Mackie, which will air on April 11 on CBS.
