One of the main goals of CMA Music Festival is to connect the fans to their favorite artists on a closer level. For some lucky attendees of the country music weekend, a handful of the hottest stars in the genre will go in depth about their careers and more during special Artist of the Day events at Fan Fair X.

Held on the CMA Close Up Stage, people like Dierks Bentley, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan and Dustin Lynch will all discuss their journey as artists in country music as well as run through highlights throughout their time in the industry. Fans will get to hear and experience the magic of hearing the singers’ stories by participating as a member of the audience during those unique sit-down interviews.

Not only did CMA announce their Artist of the Day program, but they also added Jason Aldean onto the lineup for the nightly show on June 7. Aldean will join Dan + Shay, Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker, Kane Brown featuring Lauren Alaina, Carly Pearce and Charles Esten during that evening to close out the first night of fun.

Every year, the fest selects an up-and-coming artist or group to let the weekend commence with the singing of The National Anthem. Country trio Runaway June earned the honor for the 2018 CMA Fest, and will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” on Thursday at the Chevy Riverfront Stage.

The 2018 CMA Music Festival will take place from June 7-10 in Nashville, with free shows scattered around town during the day and nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium.
