Kelsea Ballerini Looks Forward to ‘Healthy’ 2021
This is a great way to kick off the new year.
Kelsea Ballerini has shared that her word for the new year is ‘healthy.’ She revealed her new year intention on Instagram with two photos of her overlooking a mountain range, explaining that her health has been somewhat overlooked in the past year.
“My word of 2021 is ‘healthy,’” she shared in the post. “I want to nurture and focus on my physical, mental, and emotional health that all took a bit of a backseat last year (anyone else?). Having a word for the year helps me stay focused and keeps my intentions set while I try to live a full life, stay creative, and be productive.”
Ballerini has shared a few snaps of herself and her husband, Morgan Evans, over the holiday break. Most recently, the two took a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in east Tennessee. Ballerini posted a selfie of the two of them in front of a mountain sunset with the caption, “reset.” Evans also posted a few photos from the trip, revealing that the couple is partaking in “dry January” and will not be drinking alcohol for a month.
“Ready to take a good run at 2021! Who’s doing dry January with us?” he wrote.
The two singers also posted a festive Christmas photo of the two of them and their dog, Dibs, on Christmas.
“Blurry, merry, and very chilly. sending love to you and your families this Christmas, and wishing you a feeling of joy and magic that we all desperately need this season,” Ballerini wrote alongside the photo.
