Kelsea Ballerini Plots Her First Headlining Tour
Kelsea Ballerini's first headlining tour will take her to several cities across the U.S., including New York, Houston, and her hometown of Knoxville.
Kelsea Ballerini has been on a fast track to stardom since releasing her first single, “Love Me Like You Mean It.” Since notching back-to-back No.1’s and now, a Top 10 smash with “Peter Pan,” Ballerini is ready to step out on her own with her very first headlining tour.
The First Time Tour will kick off in Houston, TX on Oct 21 and will hit several cities within Georgia, New York, Nevada and her home state of Tennessee.
“I’ve been blessed to open for so many incredible artists and people I admire. Getting to watch their shows and learn more about our craft has inspired me to grow as an artist,” shared Ballerini. “One of the highlights of touring has been meeting fans and creating new relationships along the way. And for that reason, I was inspired to put together my first headlining tour. I can’t wait to get up close and personal with the people who have made the last few years so incredible. See you this fall!”
Ballerini accidentally revealed the news of a headlining tour back in June when she was busy promoting the ABC show Greatest Hits, of which she is a host. When asked about her current stint on the Rascal Flatts Rhythm and Roots tour, she replied “It started last weekend actually. I do that through September and then I do a headline tour. I’m going to try that out for the first time later this year. Should be fun!” She later tweeted about her flub, saying “Hehe. Totally wasn’t suppose [sic] to say Anything. Surprise. Details soon.”
Tickets for The First Time Tour will be available for fan club members beginning Wednesday, Aug. 3 and will go onsale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 5. Several VIP experiences will also be available to fan club members on Wednesday at 10 a.m., with non-members allowed to purchase at noon local time.
