If you’re anxiously awaiting new music from Kelsea Ballerini, the wait is nearly over. The Tennessee native revealed that she’s got plans to hit the studio soon and record for her third album.
“I think the first couple of singles ready to go, and I’m really excited,” she admitted backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.

While the first singles may be ready to go, Ballerini shared that she’s got the summer blocked off to really sink her teeth into the creative process for the full-length project.
“I need to make a dang good album, and that’s my next focus, that I’ve been writing for it. I haven’t ever taken the time, to really write extra, and try different things in the studio, so I have a couple months this summer, to really hook in, and figure out what it’s gonna be, what the heart of it is, or what it’s gonna say,” she shared.
Ballerini released her sophomore record, Unapologetically, in 2017. The record produced several singles, including “Legends,” “I Hate Love Songs” and her latest “Miss Me More.”
