Kenny Chesney is set to build on the success of his 2020-released 19th studio album, Here and Now, adding four new tracks to the set with Here And Now Deluxe.

Out on May 7 and featuring all of the chart topping original project plus new tracks “Wind On,” “Fields of Glory,” “My Anthem” and “Streets,” Chesney says the deluxe release is taking the place of the connection he normally gets with fans through touring. The additional songs are reportedly “diverse” in style and feature a top-flight list of co-writers — including Chesney, David Lee Murphy, Josh Osborne, Ashley Gorley, Tom Douglas and more.

“Being home, writing with friends, recording with people who inspire you,” Chesney says, “this time has taught me to really be in the moment, to share more music. Some of these songs will spark an immediate hunger for things we all love; some of them I think people will think about for days and days after they hear them.

“With so much still unsettled, I didn’t want to wait any more to share them.”

The country superstar was just force to postpone his Chillaxification stadium tour for yet another year due to COVID-19 restrictions, so count this as a consolation prize for both the singer and his fans. Chesney had released the project’s Number One title track “Here And Now,” as well as “Tip of My Tongue” and “Happy Does,” and if February dropped its latest single, the thoughtful “Knowing You.” A cinematic official music video for the track just came out this month.
