Kenny Chesney Performs At Everglades Benefit In Florida

Kenny Chesney is known for his high-energy live shows and his love for the outdoors. On Friday night, they came together in Palm Beach, FL where Chesney performed for the Everglades Foundation benefit. Chesney’s friend and Foundation Board member Jimmy Buffet joined Chesney on stage for Chesney’s “Back Where I Come From” and one of Buffett’s signature songs, “Come Monday.” Mac McAnally joined Chesney on “Down The Road.”

On performing at the benefit Chesney said, “I was honored that Jimmy (Buffett) asked me to be a part of the Everglades Foundation Benefit. Restoring and protecting future damage to the Everglades is very important to me. Hopefully this helped bring some attention to a very important cause.” The Everglades Foundation is dedicated to protecting and restoring one of the world’s unique natural ecosystems, providing economic, recreational and life- sustaining benefits to the millions of people who depend on its future health. Chesney joins a diverse line up of artists who have performed at previous benefits including Sting, Gloria Estefan, Diana Ross and John Mellencamp.

Chesney now turns his full attention to his Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s “Goin Coastal” Tour which has already sold more than 500,000 tickets and more than 30 shows have not even gone on sale yet! With 11 stadiums and more than 40 arena and amphitheater shows, Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s “Goin Coastal” Tour finds him back in the Palm Beach County area for the kick-off on March 17 and then onto Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay on March 19.
