March 24, 2016. That’s the day Kenny Chesney fans will get their first taste of the superstar’s new music.

The Tennessee native is building the anticipation with a teaser clip posted to Facebook that simply reads, “We didn’t turn it on, but we can’t turn it off,” presumably lyrics from his new single.

Earlier this month, Chesney revealed plans to release new music later this spring, and fans couldn’t have been more excited.

“There’s a moment you feel a record grab hold, and take shape,” he said. “You can have great songs and not have an album. You can have a killer record that won’t move people on the radio. The idea is to balance both, then hopefully create something that does both, that also says something as a whole. I think we’re on our way.”

In a recent interview with Billboard, Chesney’s longtime manager, Clint Higham, shared even more details about the eight-time Entertainer of the Year’s upcoming album release.

“We’re hoping for May,” he told the publication. “He’s still recording. He’s a great A&R person, and he knows the funnel in which he can compete is pretty tight. You can’t give [fans] too much of where you’ve been, [and] if you try to conform to what everybody else is doing, then that doesn’t stay true to him. But from what I’m hearing, he should be in good shape.”

Fans can visit Kenny Chesney’s official Facebook page on March 24 at 3:45pm CT for the big reveal of his new music. Until then, re-live some of Chesney’s biggest hits with the playlist below.
