As “Boys of Fall” sits at the top of Billboard’s country singles chart this week, this No 1 puts Kenny Chesney in the record books for having a Billboard No. 1 single every year for the past 10 years. Kenny notched a Billboard No. 1 each year from 2001 through 2005, two in 2006, 2008 and 2009, and three in 2007.
According to Billboard, in the chart’s 66-year history, just six artists have strung together longer runs of annual No. 1s than Chesney:

10 years, Merle Haggard, 1967-76
Kenny’s new album, Hemingway’s Whiskey, is expected to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart this week, making it the 6th time he’s accomplished that feat. The only country artist who has topped the Billboard 200 chart more than Chesney is Garth Brooks, who has done it 8 times.
