Kenny Going Overseas?

Country Weekly is reporting that Kenny Chesney is thinking of taking his concerts overseas. His 2009 tour will begin in April and although that tour will include some Canadian dates, Kenny wants to reach even further. The magazine quotes Kenny as saying “The summer that I take a year off from the States might be the summer that I go over there and test the waters. My friend Bruce Springsteen told me once I go over there and build that fan base that they will always be there. So I hope he’s right. I wanna try and do that someday.”

Very cool – but we’re thinking that Kenny will have to give his fans in the States plenty of notice – can we say ‘ROAD TRIP?!’
