Kiefer Sutherland Announces Debut Album, Tour

Kiefer Sutherland is well-known for his starring role as Jack Bauer in the FOX series 24, but he’s now stepping into a new lane… music.

After playing two songs he had written to his former business partner and best friend Jude Cole in 2015, Sutherland grew his two into four, and then into six songs, leading Cole to suggest that he make a record. The result of their collaboration is Sutherland’s upcoming debut album, Down In A Hole.

“It’s the closest thing I’ve ever had to a journal or diary. All of these songs are pulled from my own personal experiences. There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music. As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on,” Sutherland said of the 11-track project.

In support of the record, Sutherland will also head out on his debut tour, hitting 26 cities around the U.S., beginning April 14 in Milwaukee, WI.

A track listing and release date for Down In A Hole will be announced soon.
