King Calaway is rising quickly to stardom and grinding its way to the top by gearing up to release a new EP called Midnight.

The four-track collection features some of the up-and-coming band’s deepest tracks, expanding on the concept of diverse sounds and eclectic beats. They plan to celebrate release day in their adopted hometown of Nashville surrounded by their biggest supporters, within their circle and out in the crowd.

Midnight is the result of many months spent diving into new creative and sonic spaces,” said the band. “We carefully crafted these songs with our live show in mind, and it’s only fitting that we get to share them for the first time live from Nashville.”

One track featured on the project is a duet with Lainey Wilson, “Good Time To Me,” which is co-written by Russell Dickerson and Charles Kelley of Lady A.

The band released their first record, Rivers, back in October 2019, but had to put a halt on their musical endeavors as the COVID-19 pandemic put a hold on much of the music industry. The EP will be the next stepping stone in the five-person group’s career, leading them to bigger and better success.

King Calaway will perform some of the new songs, and some from their debut album, during the Midnight event, which is being held at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday, August 26 at 9 p.m. CT.

The EP is scheduled for release on August 27.
