Kip Moore has always been a man of adventure, whether its surfing in the oceans of Coasta Rica or climbing glaciers in Iceland. The “Last Shot” singer is putting his affinity for nature to use as he and his longtime friend, Jeremy Salyers, open a lodging facility for outdoorsmen and women.

Named BedRock At The Red, the accommodations lie in Red River Gorge in Kentucky (four hours outside of Nashville, TN), just feet from world-class rock climbing and hiking trails.

“This space is something I’ve been really looking forward to being ready,” said Moore in a press release. “Every part of the lodge has been intricately thought through, and hopefully encourages guests to connect on a community level. I love to rock climb in my spare time and I think we’ve created something pretty special.”

“Kip and I became close friends by simply sharing the same aspirations,” added Salyers. “Seeing one of our ideas come to fruition has been unbelievable and we’re excited to share it with everyone.”

Opening the lodge has been a dream come true for Moore, who has always encouraged fans to disconnect and embrace the world around them.

“This whole vision started over coffee in Maui a couple years ago. Most of the pipe dreams we’ve had through the years (and there’s been a ton) eventually vanished, but this one stuck,” he explained on Instagram. If you’re rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, yoga retreat, team building, or just looking for a get away to shut out all the bs, this is the place. It sits right in the heart of the red river gorge.”

Booking for lodging at RedRock At The Red is available now via bedrockrrg.com. Follow @rrgproject on Instagram for more info.
