‘The Voice’ Recap: Krista Hughes Wows With Bonnie Raitt’s ‘Angel from Montgomery’

The Voice Krista Hughes

The competition has been fierce for season nine of NBC’s The Voice. There have been several four chair turns and the trend held true for Krista Hughes.

Hughes is another of the many country singers featured so far on this season, although her sound is much more classic than what you’d hear on radio as of late. The West Virginia native takes on Bonnie Raitt’s “Angel from Montgomery” and gets all four judges to turn around.

“Thank you for being good!” Gwen Stefani exclaims, but it’s not enough to get her on Team Gwen. Blake Shelton racks up another country singer on his team.

Hughes joins Blind Joe, Zach Seabaugh, Emily Ann Roberts, Nadjah Nicole, Barrett Baber, Morgan Frazier, Chris Crump, and Tyler Dickerson.
