Lady Antebellum, Dallas Davidson Celebrate Recent No. 1 Success

There has been no shortage of things to celebrate for Lady Antebellum recently. After celebrating the engagement of member Dave Haywood in December, the wedding of Hillary Scott earlier this month, the trio shifted their focus to their most recent career achievements this week in Nashville. The trio, along with co-writer Dallas Davidson, was honored on Monday night for the No. 1 success of “Just A Kiss” and “We Owned the Night.”

For co-writer Davidson, it’s been a pretty exciting and successful week. In addition to celebrating these No. 1’s, Davidson co-wrote Luke Bryan’s “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” which hit No. 1 on the country charts this week. Additionally, he received two Triple Play Awards from the Country Music Association for writing/co-writing an incredible six songs to reach the No. 1 spot in a 12 month period.

At the celebration Monday evening, Davidson presented Lady A members Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley with a vintage Gibson acoustic guitar, and announced to Hillary Scott that he’d made a donation to her favorite charity, My Life Speaks. The organization helps care for orphans in Haiti, a cause close to Scott’s heart.

Now that the celebrations are over for Lady Antebellum – at least for the time being – the trio will hit the road next week on their “Own The Night 2012 World Tour.” Click HERE for a list of tour dates.
