Lady Antebellum returned to Las Vegas over Mother’s Day weekend for two new installments of first-ever residency, Our Kind of Vegas. While they were there, the trio previewed new music and shared stories of their biggest hits with a special guest.

Taking over Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater for the shows, the chart-topping team of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are the first country act to headline the venue – and they’ve been making the most of the intimate, 2,500 seat venue.

Mixing Vegas-style bombast with a behind-the-music flavor Nashville is famous for, the group previewed their emotional new song, “What If I Never Get Over You,” which is expected to be released as their next single this Friday (May 17th). The group had previously only played it in the U.K. during the C2C Festival earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the trio also like to feature one of their songwriting pals during each show, and this week it was singer-songwriter Dave Barnes’ turn on stage. Barnes is one of the brilliant minds behind hits like Blake Shelton’s “God Gave Me You,” Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” and Thomas Rhett’s “Craving You,” among others, and he took a seat to trade songs with Lady A “in-the-round” style, sharing stories about the songs along the way.

If you missed out this time, don’t worry. Lady Antebellum’s Our Kind of Vegas residency continues with three more shows this week and another batch set for August, and tickets are still available at ticketmaster.com/LadyA. The band is currently working on their seventh studio album.
