Lady Antebellum Prepares For Grammy Awards Performance
Lady Antebellum is gearing up for their first performance on the Grammy Awards…and they’re feeling the pressure.
“I think now that we have a performance slot we feel a little pressure to put on a good performance,” Charles Kelley tells OK! Magazine. “It's going to be not just the country market likely listening to us for the first time and this will be their introduction to our music and seeing us live so we want to nail it. With the success of “Need You Now” through the roof, we feel like this could be our chance to take it to the next level if we have a good performance.”
Kelley also told the mag that their performance slot is either before or after Beyonce’s…and that makes Hillary Scott a little nervous. “We're before or after and it's really scary no matter how you shake it,” she says.
So whose performance is Lady A looking forward to?
“Black Eyed Peas are always fun to see,” says Kelley. “And the Zac Brown Band is a great country band we're excited to see and Taylor Swift, we're friends with her.”
Be sure to tune in to the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday, January 31 at 8pm EST!
