Lady Antebellum Salutes Veterans on the ‘Today’ Show
Country supergroup Lady Antebellum stopped by NBC’s “Today” show this morning to celebrate the release of their Golden Deluxe album and to take part in the show’s salute to servicemen and women on Veteran’s Day.
The trio kicked things off with a stunning rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
“It’s such an important day, and we need to celebrate and really say ‘thank you’ to our servicemen and women, past and present,” said singer Hillary Scott who admits she “just lost it” when her emotions took over as she and bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood performed in front of dozens of men and women in uniform.
