Lady Antebellum to Release DVD And Blu-ray Documenting ‘Own the Night’ Tour
Lady Antebellum fans will soon be able to take home a piece of the trio’s “Own the Night” Tour.
Lady A recently announced plans to release a DVD/Blu-ray commemorating their highly successful “Own the Night” Tour. The documentary will include video from their live shows as well as behind-the-scenes footage collected on this tour and from years’ past. The majority of the footage was shot at the band’s show in Little Rock, AR earlier this year.
“We had a bunch of really great fans that night that we all kind of prepped them about it,” Lady A’s Dave Haywood tells ABC News Radio. “So yeah, we filmed that show and are working on kind of putting that together.”
It was important for them to include concert footage and give fans a glimpse at what life is like on the road
“To me, the most entertaining parts of watching things and bands is what goes on behind the scenes,” Charles Kelley explains. “So, there’s a lot of that. It’s almost a little documentary-style slash concert DVD.”
The DVD will be released Dec. 4 in the US and Canada, with an worldwide release in 2013. Next up, Lady A will release a Christmas album, entitled On This Winter’s Night. The project hits stores October 22.
