Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli are expecting their second child, a girl, this December. The news of their latest addition was announced to the world on Thursday afternoon (Aug. 17) and the proud dad-to-be couldn’t be more excited.
“Yes we are beyond excited for a baby girl this Dec!!! Really can’t believe it. We feel very blessed, partly terrified, and I’ve already cried twice and the baby is not even here yet ♂️ also kelli looking and Cashie gonna be a great big brother,” he wrote with a family photo to his newly created personal Instagram account.
Haywood also congratulated his band mate Hillary Scott, who is also expecting her second child in January 2018.
“And huge congrats too @hillaryscottla ,” he added.
The “BabyBellum” news came with an adorable photo posted to the band’s page featuring Haywood and Scott’s children, including Charles Kelley’s son Ward.
“Well, #BabyBellum round 2 is on the way! We’re thrilled to announce the Haywoods are welcoming a girl this December, AND the Tyrrells are expecting in February 2018!! ❤️,” the post read.
The baby is the second for Haywood and his wife, music executive Kelli Cashiola. The couple wed in the spring of 2012, and had their first child, Cash Van Haywood, on September 7, 2014.
