Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Purchases First Home
2010 just got better for Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott.
“I just signed the papers on my house, the first house ever. Like it’s finalized today. So I’m celebrating that, too,” she said before the CMA Awards last Wednesday in Nashville. (Quote via the Associated Press)
Hillary, 24, said the reality of it all is just starting to set in.
“I’m like, ‘Welcome to being a grown-up, Hillary.’ You know? It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, now I have a mortgage.’ This is scary,” she said.
Do her bandmates Charles and Dave have any advice for her? Dave doesn’t because he rents a condo, but Charles owns a home with his wife….”It’s something all the time, I can tell her that right there,” Charles said.
Lady Antebellum wraps their first headlining tour, The 2010 Need You Now, on November 20 in Kansas City, MO.
