Lakeview Reveal Details of Rock Infused EP Debut, ‘Small Town Famous’

Newcomer country duo Lakeview are taking another step forward after being named one of Sounds Like Nashville’s Artists to Watch for 2021, announcing their upcoming Small Town Famous EP.
Set for June 25 and featuring five original tunes, the project will put the band’s buzzed-about mix of rock power, punk attitude and country heart on blast. And with each song co-written and co-produced by the pair — Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy — every bit of the project is unique.
“We are so dang excited to share this EP with everyone,” Denaro explains. “With everything that has happened over the past year, this project has been a long time coming, but it feels so great to finally release some new music and give fans another chance to learn a little more about us with each of these songs. This EP is essentially a collection of the songs we’re most proud of, so when it’s all said and done, we just hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do – and that they sit back, crack a cold one, and turn that volume up.”
Lakeview’s Small Town Famous EP will feature their party-ready debut, “Poor Me,” as well as the fan-favorite singalong, “She Drove Me To The Bar.” And as a taste of what else fans will find, the duo has unleashed the hard-rocking “Hits Different” as well — a tribute to doing things the country way.
“This song is the perfect combination of our backgrounds, both as songwriters and musicians,” says Healy. “From the wall of guitars to the slamming tones of the drums, I love how intense and heavy this song feels – in the best way possible. I think our Rock & Roll roots definitely influence each of our songs, but this time, we really let them come out to play. For me, something about this track truly hits different, and I hope everyone who hears it feels the same way.”
Lakeview formed as songwriting partnership between Denaro and Healy in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, before the duo made the move to Nashville in 2019. The duo just finished their headlining trek on Tin Roof’s NASHVILLE HITS THE ROOF Concert Series, and made their full-band Music City debut at Nashville’s High Watt on June 9. On Wednesday (June 16), they’ve got a hometown show in Pittsburgh, headlining the Allegheny Summer Concert Series.
