LANCO’s Eric Steedly Ties The Knot
Congratulations!
LANCO guitarist Eric Steedly married his fiancée Jessica Wardwell in Nashville on Sunday, August 23rd. The two became engaged in January, long before getting married during a pandemic was a concern.
“It has definitely been an interesting time to plan a wedding and start our new life,” the couple told PEOPLE. “But the silver lining is that, since we have known each other, we have never been able to spend this much time together because I am on the road so much.”

While the couple originally planned on getting married at a larger venue, they downsized their venue and cut down their guest list in order to keep guests safe during the pandemic. Unfortunately, due to the current state of the virus, Wardwell’s family, who lives in Australia, was not able to attend.
“As the year progressed and the restrictions from COVID got tighter, we felt that the responsible thing to do was to cancel our original plan and greatly reduce the size,” Steedly says. “A lot of Jess’ family lives in Australia and weren’t going to be allowed to come anyway. Thankfully, we were able to switch to a smaller venue and all of our vendors were super kind and flexible in working with our new plan.”

Steedly said ‘I do’ with his bother, Andy, and his fellow bandmates, Brandon Lancaster, Chandler Baldwin, Jared Hampton, and Tripp Howell, beside him. The groom and his groomsmen wore stylish beige suits while Wardwell stunned in an Olia Zavozina gown. The reception was decorated with greens and a homemade, neon sign that read, “I Got You, Babe,” created by Steedly himself. Other measures taken to keep guests safe during the event included distributing “fun masks and personal sanitizers” and keeping the bar outside during the reception.
“We just wanted everyone to feel safe and at ease while being able to celebrate with us,” says Steedly. “It turned to be the most joyful night for everyone, and I don’t think that either of us would change the turnout.”
